Ahmed Alom is a multifaceted musician known for his versatility as a pianist, conductor, producer, arranger, and composer. Born in Cuba, Alom began his musical journey at a young age, initially studying percussion before transitioning to piano. He is recognized for combining classical music with popular roots from his homeland, creating a unique musical voice. Alom has performed as a soloist with several prominent orchestras, including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Orquesta Filarmonica de Mexico. He is also the youngest Artistic Director and Conductor of the Washington Square Music Festival, where he promotes inclusive programming, often focusing on Latin American music.

Recently, Alom released his album "Exilio," which explores works by Hispanic composers who wrote in exile. The album has been praised for its sensitivity and elegance. Alom collaborates extensively, co-founding projects like CrossCurrents with Pedrito Martinez and Triple Cortado with Caleb Hudson and Achilles Liarmakopoulos.
