LOVE PSYCHEDELICO is a dynamic Japanese rock duo formed in 1997 by vocalist/guitarist Kumi and multi-instrumentalist Naoki, who met while studying at Showa University of Music. Known for their genre-blending sound that mixes rock, psychedelic grooves, blues, and pop with bilingual lyrics (switching seamlessly between Japanese and English), they’ve been a staple of Japan’s music scene since their 2001 debut album *THE GREATEST HITS* – which, true to their playful style, was actually their first release. Over two decades deep, they’ve maintained a retro-meets-modern vibe through hits like "Your Song" and "Lady Madonna ~Yura Yura~," earning a loyal fanbase with their energetic live shows and Kumi’s raspy, charismatic vocals. Recent releases like *A revolution* (2022) and acoustic live recordings showcase their enduring creativity, while their *Complete Singles 2000-2019* compilation celebrates a career built on catchy riffs and genre-defying fun.
