The Blue Stones

The Blue Stones are a Canadian blues rock duo formed in Windsor, Ontario, comprised of Tarek Jafar as the lead vocalist and guitarist, and Justin Tessier handling the drumming duties and backing vocals. Their musical journey began when they crossed paths in university and bonded over a shared passion for gritty blues and electrifying rock. They started creating music that fuses the rawness of garage rock with the catchiness of modern pop hooks, carving out a niche for themselves in the alternative rock landscape.

The band caught the attention of listeners with their 2018 album "Black Holes," which delivered fan-favorite tracks and showcased their knack for crafting high-energy anthems. Following up their success, The Blue Stones released "Hidden Gems" in 2021, buoyed by the singles "Don't Miss" and "Spirit," among others. Their recent body of work, including remixes and singles like "Pretty Monster" and "What’s It Take To Be Happy?," continues to demonstrate their evolution and the dynamic nature of their sound. As they remix their tracks with electronic artists such as The Crystal Method and The Bloody Beetroots, The Blue Stones push the boundaries between rock and electronic music, cementing their place as innovative artists in the modern rock scene. With a reputation for engaging live performances, The Blue Stones promise to deliver passion and intensity with each show, as captured in their "Live on Display" release.
