The Fallacy

The Fallacy is a Chilean band formed in 2007, specializing in Gothic Metal, Gothic Rock, and post-punk genres. The band's history began after the dissolution of the Chilean gothic rock band Capital, with Marco Cusato initiating a new project. Initially, the band included Viviana Torres on vocals, but she left in 2008, and Angeline Bernini joined, bringing a new dynamic to the group. Over the years, The Fallacy has released several albums, including "Falling Roses" (2009), "Beyond the Mist" (2010), and "Love Division" (2012). The band has toured extensively across Latin America and has also performed in the United States. Their music often features a blend of heavy and melodic elements, creating a distinctive sound within the gothic music scene.

The Fallacy's lineup has included Angeline Bernini on vocals and guitar, Marco Cusato on vocals, guitar, and keyboards, and Niko Arell on bass. The band's evolution has been marked by changes in membership and musical direction, but they remain active in the music scene. Their discography reflects a consistent exploration of gothic themes and sounds, appealing to fans of darker, atmospheric music.
