Silver Gore

Silver Gore is a London-based duo made up of drummer and vocalist Ava Gore and producer/musician Ethan P. Flynn, who originally hails from Yorkshire. The pair first crossed paths in 2018, with Ava later joining Ethan’s live band in 2021 as a drummer—her background includes both samba drumming and classical vocals, while Ethan, a Guildhall dropout, has built a reputation as a sought-after collaborator for acts like FKA Twigs and David Byrne. Their project, Silver Gore, really took shape almost by accident one night after rehearsal, when they started writing together and ended up creating “All The Good Men,” a synth-pop earworm that would later become a standout single.

Fast forward to 2025, and Silver Gore have released their debut EP, Dogs In Heaven, via Island Records, further defining themselves with a sound that’s equal parts alt-rock, electronic, and experimental pop, colored by whimsical and sometimes haunting imagery. Live shows and singles like “25 Meters” and “Dogs In Heaven” have already earned them buzz on the UK circuit for their energetic performances and unique blend of heartfelt lyricism and bold, synthetic production. Despite Ethan’s experience working with big names, Silver Gore really feels like a shared, instinctive outlet for both—Ava’s first time as a lead vocalist, and a chance for the duo to chase whatever sound or feeling takes their fancy in the moment.
