Formed in January 2015 by lead guitarist Josh Thomas, the band has evolved over time, with its current lineup consisting of Justin Crowe on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Josh Thomas on lead guitar and backing vocals, Carl Oag on bass and backing vocals, and Ash Preece on drums. The band's name is a revival of a previous band Josh was involved in, which never materialized fully. Cancel The Transmission has released several notable singles, including "Rise Again" and "Light The Fire," and an album titled "Live It Up" in 2019.
