Bell of Mimir

Bell of Mimir is a Finnish doom metal band formed in early 2021 by Karhu. The band's music is rooted deeply in traditional doom metal, offering a unique blend of slow tempos, rich chord progressions, and poetic atmospheres. Their sound is influenced by Karhu's background in classical music studies, which he combines with his vision of doom metal's heavy and artistic aspects. The band's debut album, "Nocturne," was released on May 16, 2025, via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. The album features six tracks, including "Dark and Silent," "Spell of Doom," "Folding," "Nightfall," and "Devil's Garden," showcasing the band's distinctive blend of melancholy and power.

Bell of Mimir's lineup includes Karhu, Tuohino on bass, Marde on drums, Nordlund on guitar, and Korvenmaa on vocals.
