Entrails

Entrails is a Swedish death metal band that has made a significant impact on the scene with its dark, old-school sound reminiscent of the early Swedish death metal movement. Formed in the early 90s by guitarist and mainstay Jimmy Lundqvist, the band initially struggled to gain traction and disbanded without releasing any official material. However, Lundqvist resurrected the project around 2008, breathing new life into his earlier compositions and attracting a lineup that would help bring Entrails to the fore of the death metal underground.

Their music, characterized by its relentless riffs, gruesome lyrics, and an atmosphere steeped in the tradition of early 90s death metal, has garnered a loyal following. With an impressive discography under their belts, including albums such as "The Tomb Awaits" (2011), "Rise of the Reaper" (2019), and the more recent "An Eternal Time of Decay", Entrails has demonstrated a commitment to the raw and uncompromising roots of the genre. The band’s lyrical narratives often explore grotesque and macabre themes, a hallmark of the style they've continually honed.
