Natalia Trull

Natalia Trull is a renowned Russian pianist born in St. Petersburg. She began her piano studies in her hometown before moving to Moscow, where she graduated from the prestigious Moscow Conservatory under the tutelage of notable professors such as Y. Zak, M. Voskresensky, and T. Kravchenko. Her career took off after winning the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Belgrade in 1983, followed by a significant achievement in 1986 when she won the silver medal at the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition in Moscow. This success was marked by her captivating performances of composers like Schubert and Stravinsky, with her rendition of Stravinsky's "Petrushka" suite leaving a lasting impression. Trull has also been recognized with the Grand Prix at the Piano Masters Competition in Monte-Carlo in 1993.

Natalia Trull is not only celebrated for her performances but also for her extensive repertoire, which includes over 50 piano concertos. She is particularly known for her frequent performances of Tchaikovsky's B minor Concerto worldwide. Trull has performed with esteemed orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Tokyo Philharmonic. In addition to her performance career, she is a respected educator, teaching at the Moscow Conservatory and holding a visiting professorship at the Como Accademia Europea di Musica in Italy. She regularly conducts masterclasses globally, sharing her expertise with aspiring pianists in the US, South America, Japan, Italy, and Germany.
