Psyclon Nine

Psyclon Nine is an American industrial metal band formed in 2000 by lead vocalist Nero Bellum in San Francisco, California. Known for their dark and aggressive blend of electronic and metal elements, their music often features themes of religious criticism, misanthropy, and horror. The band's name, a play on the words "cyclone" and the number "nine," hints at their chaotic and intense sound. Psyclon Nine's style has evolved over time, ranging from early aggrotech to incorporating more elements of black metal and industrial rock into their recent works.

Over the years, Psyclon Nine has cultivated a strong following with their provocative and theatrical live shows, as well as their uncompromising artistic vision. With releases such as "We The Fallen" (2009) and "Order of the Shadow: Act I" (2013), the band has showcased their ability to continuously innovate within their genre. Their 2018 album, "Icon of the Adversary," saw further exploration of metal influences, receiving critical acclaim for its intensity and cohesion. Psyclon Nine's penchant for remixing their own work is also evident in "Versions: Icon of the Adversary (Remixed)", providing fans with reinterpretations of their tracks. The band's more recent releases, including singles like "MORE TO HELL," "Less To Heaven," and "MONEY AND SEX AND DEATH," continue to build on their legacy as a formidable force in the industrial metal landscape, earning them a revered place among contemporaries in aggressive music.
