Orkester Nord
Orkester Nord, previously known as Trondheim Barokk, is a leading period instrument orchestra based in Trondheim, Norway. Founded in 2009 by cellist Martin Wåhlberg and plucked instrument player Erik Skanke Høsøien, the ensemble specializes in performing Baroque and Classical music on historical instruments. They are known for their youthful energy and innovative approach to exploring the musical repertoire of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
