He composed several notable songs, including "El mar y yo," "Mi pueblo," and "Vivirás." Miranda also had a successful acting career, appearing in films like "Ganarás el pan" and "En la selva no hay estrellas," as well as in the musical "No llores por mí Argentina." He passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 80.

Miranda's legacy extends beyond his music to his contributions to Peruvian culture through his acting roles and his involvement with the Asociación Peruana de Autores y Compositores (Apdayc). His impact on the Peruvian music scene during the 1960s and beyond remains significant, and he is remembered fondly as a key figure in the country's musical history.
