Year Long Disaster

Year Long Disaster is an American hard rock band that carved its niche in the music world with a potent blend of gritty riffs, compelling melodies, and a classic rock sensibility infused with elements of blues and stoner rock. Formed in 2004 in Los Angeles, California, the band's founding members consist of Daniel Davies (vocals and guitar), Rich Mullins (bass), and Brad Hargreaves (drums), although Hargreaves would later be replaced by Rob Oswald. They are best known for a sound that echoes the legacy of rock giants, while also forging its own distinct path.

The self-titled album "Year Long Disaster" released in 2007 proved to be a solid foundation for the band's career, showcasing their riff-driven momentum and raw energy. They built on their success with subsequent releases, cementing their place in the rock scene. In 2010, the band released "Black Magic; All Mysteries Revealed,” an album that deepened their exploration into the mysteries of the riff-laden rock sound and the shadowy corners of blues-infused melodies. The radio edit of "Show Me Your Teeth" exemplifies the band's ability to streamline their sound for broader appeal without losing the soulful rawness that characterized their music. Despite not achieving mainstream success, Year Long Disaster has gained a loyal following, appreciated for their no-frills approach to rock and their dynamic live performances.
