Helheim

Helheim, named after the realm of the dead in Norse mythology, is a band deeply rooted in the traditions of Viking metal and black metal genres. Formed in 1992 in Bergen, Norway, the group is renowned for their exploration of Norse mythology, history, and cultural heritage through their music. Consisting of founding members V’gandr (bass and vocals) and H’grimnir (guitar and vocals), along with drummer Hrymr, Helheim has remained steadfast in their artistic vision, steadfastly producing material that is as introspective as it is fierce.

Over the years, Helheim has demonstrated a commitment to evolving their sound while staying true to their thematic core. Their recent works, such as "WoduridaR" and "Henholdsvis," continue to reflect their fascination with the darker aspects of Norse paganism and the Viking era.
