Ben Tov

Ben Tov, also known as Dino Ben Tovim (previously by the alias DinoLive), is a South Africa-based, Israeli-born producer and DJ who’s been leaving his mark on the electronic music scene since 2013. His musical journey kicked off early, with childhood lessons on violin and drums before he mastered the decks. Dino’s sound stands out for blending multiple genres, often weaving in traditional bongo rhythms and electronic hand-drum synths. He’s released EPs on underground labels like Joy Records and Asymmetric Dip, and since 2015 has held residencies in Cape Town at notable spots such as No Name Bar, HQ, and the Radisson Red Rooftop. His passion project, Ben Tov, is rooted in a return to underground electronic sounds, and recent releases like "Delirium"—on Triplefire Records—have been endorsed by top DJs and producers worldwide, including Solomun, Peter Dundov, BLONDISH, and more.

With a reputation for not sticking to any single style, Ben Tov explores a wide range of BPMs and moods, focusing on storytelling through musical progression and deep analog synths. His tracks have landed on respected labels such as Katz and Kautz, Deeplomatic, and Harabe, and he’s traveled internationally to play in clubs across several countries. Recent releases like "Nuwe Reen" and "Delirium" highlight his evolving sound and growing influence in the global house and techno scene.
