Lorien Testard

Lorien Testard is a French composer who specializes in video game music and gained significant recognition with his work on the soundtrack for *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33*. He began his musical journey by composing one track a week in various styles and sharing them on SoundCloud, where his passion for video game soundtracks—especially from classics like *The Legend of Zelda*—was evident. This dedication caught the attention of Sandfall Interactive’s game director, Guillaume Broche, who invited Lorien to score the entire game. Over five years, Lorien composed 154 tracks, including orchestral and vocal pieces that have been praised for deeply enhancing the emotional and atmospheric experience of the game.

Before his breakthrough with *Clair Obscur*, Lorien was a guitar teacher who pursued composing in his free time purely out of love for music and gaming. His soundtrack for the game has earned critical acclaim, topping charts and captivating players worldwide with its unique blend of immersive orchestration and evocative vocals.
