Preston Anthony Chin, better known by his stage name Robotaki, is a Canadian DJ and producer hailing from Toronto and based in Montreal. Born in 1991, Chin's journey in music is as unique as his sound. He's got a Master's degree in genetics from McGill University, but traded in lab coats for synthesizers to pursue his passion for electronic music.
Robotaki's been making waves in the music scene since 2013, releasing a mix of original tracks and remixes that span genres from disco-funk to electro-pop. He's collaborated with artists like Claire Ridgely and Manila Killa, and even toured as an opener for Madeon and Porter Robinson. His music has gained international acclaim, with tracks like "Ghostboy" hitting viral charts in multiple countries. With his diverse sound and scientific background, Robotaki's bringing a fresh, intelligent approach to the world of electronic music.
