Jahneration
Jahneration is a French reggae duo formed in 2009 by childhood friends Théo and Ogach. Hailing from Paris, the pair started out playing punk rock before transitioning to reggae, infusing their sound with elements of hip-hop, ska, and dancehall. Jahneration gained traction in the French reggae scene with their 2011 collaboration "Me Nah Fed Up" featuring Naâman, which helped them build a loyal fanbase.
Over the years, Jahneration has released multiple albums and mixtapes, including their self-titled debut in 2015. They've performed extensively across France and internationally, playing over 400 concerts and appearing at major festivals. Known for their energetic live shows and socially conscious lyrics, Jahneration has collaborated with notable artists like Alborosie, Manu Chao, and Dub Inc. Their music blends reggae rhythms with hip-hop flows, often featuring lyrics in English mixed with Jamaican patois.
