Laurent Grégoire is a French organist and composer who has dedicated his life to sacred music. Born in 1963, he studied at the Conservatoire de Paris and the Schola Cantorum, where he honed his skills in organ performance and improvisation. Grégoire has served as the titular organist of the Abbey of Tamié since 1992, where he has played a pivotal role in preserving and promoting the rich tradition of monastic chant. His recordings, such as "Musique sacrée du XXe siècle" and "Le Livre des Louanges," showcase his profound understanding of sacred music and his ability to evoke a sense of spirituality and transcendence through his performances.
