Burning Skies was a deathcore band that formed in Bristol, England back in September 2002. The group started with core members Liam (guitar/vocals), Stu (drums), and Andie (bass), and over their active years, saw several lineup changes, with notable members including vocalist Merv Hembrough and musicians like Chuck Creese and Stephen “Ivesy” Ives joining the ranks. Their music is recognized for its blend of death metal intensity and hardcore aggression, and they’ve released well-received albums such as “Greed.Filth.Abuse.Corruption” (2008), “Desolation” (2006), and “Murder By Means Of Existence” (2004). The band remained active until around 2011 before ultimately splitting up. Burning Skies left a mark on the UK underground metal scene for their energetic performances and unrelenting sound.
