The Tenderbellies are a Vermont-based string band known for their dynamic blend of bluegrass, Americana, jazz, and rock influences. Born out of longtime friendships dating back to their days at Champlain Valley Union High School, the band has cultivated a tight-knit chemistry that shines through in their energetic, heartfelt live performances. Their sound ranges from bold and brazen to delicate and somber, featuring intricate harmonies, fast-paced instrumental jams, and a mix of original songs and reinterpretations of standards.
Over more than a decade of playing together, The Tenderbellies have become a staple in the Vermont and New England music scene, winning Vermont’s “Seven Daisies” Award for Best Bluegrass Group seven times in a row. Their latest albums, *One by One* (2022) and *When the Thunder Rolls* (2025), showcase their evolution while staying true to their bluegrass roots. The band is made up of Chris Page (guitar, vocals), Collin Cope (harmonica, vocals), David Titus (guitar, vocals), Luke Hausermann (bass, vocals), Matt Francis (mandolin, vocals), and sometimes Greg Pauza (mandolin, flute).
