Allotrope

Allotrope is a solo project by Australian musician Peter Knight, who is known for his work as a trumpet player, composer, and producer. The Allotrope project showcases his blend of trumpet with electronics, exploring micro sound worlds through live sampling and processing. Knight’s work under the Allotrope name includes experimental and electronic music elements, reflecting his background in jazz and contemporary composition. He has been active since the 1990s and has other notable projects and collaborations, such as with the Australian Art Orchestra and Melbourne group Way Out West.
