Sina Shoaie

Sina Shoaie is an innovative composer and sound designer originally from Tehran, Iran, and currently based in Toronto. He began his musical journey in 1996 with the flute and expanded his talents into electronic music and sound design, applying his unique skills to various performances and projects. He holds a degree in Urban Furniture Design and a diploma in Sound Design from the Kiev University of Technology, while also conducting ongoing research on the relationship between sound frequencies and human biochemistry.

With a passion for blending sound and human emotion, Shoaie has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Tehran Contemporary Music Festival and has showcased his work in notable exhibitions across Canada and Europe. His discography includes a series of thought-provoking releases like "Radif of Iranian Music: Lichen I" and "Time Paranoia," each reflecting his deep exploration of the auditory experience. Through his compelling soundscapes, Sina Shoaie continues to push the boundaries of contemporary sound art, making significant contributions to the global music scene.
