Jean-Jacques Kantorow

Jean-Jacques Kantorow is a French violinist and conductor who has made a name for himself in the classical music world. Born in Nice, France, in 1945, Kantorow began playing the violin at the age of five and quickly displayed a prodigious talent. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and later with the legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin.

Kantorow has performed as a soloist with major orchestras around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. He is also a respected conductor, having led the Orchestre National de Lille and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Kantorow's recordings have won numerous awards, including the prestigious Gramophone Award. He is known for his passionate and expressive playing, as well as his commitment to promoting contemporary music.
