Brady R. Allred

Dr. Brady R. Allred is a highly acclaimed choral conductor and musician with an international reputation for excellence. He serves as the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Salt Lake Choral Artists in Utah, an organization comprising seven choirs with around 300 singers, known for their innovative concerts and renowned Summer Choral Institute program. Under his leadership, these choirs have completed numerous international tours across Europe, Canada, Israel, Argentina, and Italy. His distinguished career includes previous roles as Music Director and Conductor for the Butler Symphony Orchestra, Director of Choral Activities at Duquesne University, and Artistic Director of the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh. He has also been a respected guest conductor and adjudicator worldwide, including prestigious international choir competitions.

Beyond his conducting achievements, Dr. Allred has been honored as one of Utah’s Top 25 Cultural Power Brokers and has a rich background as a singer with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers and Oregon Bach Festival Chorus. He holds Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in conducting from the Eastman School of Music. His family is also musically talented, with his wife Carol Ann Allred being an accomplished soprano and voice professor. Dr. Allred’s work continues to inspire choral musicians and audiences alike through his dedication to choral artistry and education.
