West of Hell

West of Hell is a progressive thrash metal band that initially formed in West Auckland, New Zealand. The band's early members included Andrew Hulme on drums, Ivan Vrdoljak and Sean Parkinson on guitars. They later moved and became part of a different lineup, featuring Chris "the Heathen" Valagao on vocals, known for his time with the band Zimmer's Hole. The current lineup also includes Jordy Knute on guitar and Jordan Kemp on bass. Their music portfolio includes notable releases like "Blood of the Infidel," "Spiral Empire," "Singularity," "Demon Sent," and "Water of Sorcery".

The band has undergone significant changes in both location and lineup, evolving from its origins in New Zealand to eventually integrating into a more diverse metal scene. Despite these shifts, West of Hell continues to contribute to the progressive thrash metal genre, maintaining a strong presence with their unique sound and energetic performances.
