Tadeu Franco

Tadeu Franco, born Geraldo Tadeu Pereira Franca on August 19, 1957, in Medina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He has gained recognition within the MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) genre. Tadeu Franco's career gained momentum when he won the Festival Canção de Boa Esperança in 1983 alongside Celso Adolfo, now known as the Festival Nacional da Canção. His debut album, *Cativante*, was released in 1984 and produced by Milton Nascimento, featuring notable collaborations.

Over his career, Tadeu Franco has released several albums, including *Alma Animal* (1990), *Orlando* (1995), *Em Nome do Amor* (2004), and *Pop Roça* (2008). This discography reflects his engagement with the vibrant Brazilian music scene, often incorporating themes and influences from his homeland.
