Sylvia Abramowicz is a renowned musician known for her expertise in early music, particularly with the viola da gamba and the recorder. Her journey into music began at a young age when she started playing the recorder at seven and later discovered the viola da gamba. She continued her studies on the flute à bec at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. Abramowicz is also involved in teaching, as she instructs at conservatories in Saint-Cloud and Chevilly-Larue. She has been a regular guest in various early music ensembles and co-founded the ensemble "A Deux Violes Esgales" with Jonathan Dunford, whom she also performs with frequently. Together, they have received praise for their performances, particularly of Baroque repertoire like the works of Marin Marais.
