Piotr Lempa

Piotr Lempa is a renowned Polish bass singer, born in 1976. He studied at the Academy of Music in Gdansk, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Cardiff International Academy of Voice. Lempa made his professional operatic debut in 2009 with English Touring Opera as Oroveso in *Norma*. He has since performed a wide range of roles with various companies, including English Touring Opera, Welsh National Opera, and Opera di Firenze. His repertoire includes roles like Sarastro in *Die Zauberflöte*, Commendatore in *Don Giovanni*, and Seneca in *The Coronation of Poppea*. Lempa has also been active in concert performances across Europe and the USA.

In addition to his operatic career, Piotr Lempa has released several albums, including *Romanse Rosyjskie A. Wertyńskiego*, which features Russian romances. He has received numerous awards for his performances, such as the Governor of Province Pomorskie Theatre Prize and the Nicolai Ghiurov Scholarship. Lempa is also involved in educational activities, having earned a doctorate in music and teaching at the Academy of Music in Gdansk.
