Vlada Vassilieva

Vlada Vassilieva, born on July 10, 1985, in Moscow, Russia, is a pianist of Russian origin who is now a Mexican citizen. She is the winner of the 2010 Nadia Reisenberg Piano Award in New York, a prizewinner in numerous piano competitions, and a Fulbright García-Robles grantee from 2008. Vassilieva studied at the Fine Arts Institute of the University of Colima with Anatoly Zatin and later at Mannes College of Music in New York City under Pavlina Dokovska. She is a faculty member at the University of Colima and has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall. Her performances are known for their sophisticated sound and dynamic stage presence.

Vassilieva has a rich collaborative career, particularly as part of Duo Petrof, which she co-founded with Anatoly Zatin in 2003. The duo has performed globally, representing Petrof Pianos, and is known for their unique repertoire and arrangements for piano four-hands and two pianos. Their recent releases include "Duo Petrof Plays Ant. Petrof" and "88x2 Music for Two Pianos," showcasing their innovative approach to classical music.
