Steve Von Till
Steve Von Till is an American musician best known as a guitarist and vocalist for the influential post-metal band Neurosis. Active in the underground heavy music scene since the 1990s, Von Till's work with Neurosis helped shape the atmospheric and experimental direction of modern metal. Outside of the band, he's cultivated a prolific solo career that leans into introspective folk, ambient, and spoken word soundscapes, often blending rustic acoustic textures with haunting lyrical themes.
In addition to his solo work under his own name, he also records music under the moniker Harvestman, where he explores psychedelic and ambient sounds inspired by folklore, nature, and drone. Releases like A Deep Voiceless Wilderness and Harvestman - 23 Untitled Poems showcase his poetic sensibilities and genre-defying creativity. Whether delivering crushing riffs or meditative compositions, Von Till remains a unique voice in modern music.
