Shriram Sampath

Shriram Sampath is an Indian flautist specializing in the Indian Classical Bansuri. He is known for experimenting with a variety of flutes from around the world. As part of the duo Filter Coffee, alongside percussionist Swarupa Ananth-Sawkar, Shriram combines virtuosic improvisation with electronic soundscapes to create a unique blend of classical and folk music with modern electronic elements. Their collaborative work includes the album 'Raagatronic,' which topped the iTunes India charts. Shriram is also a sought-after session artist for films, ad jingles, documentaries, and TV serials, and has collaborated with artists like Talvin Singh and the State of Bengal.
