Trinakrius

Trinakrius is a Power Heavy Doom band formed in Palermo, Italy in 1995. Initially, they released a demo tape titled "Intrinakrius" in 1996, which received positive reviews from metal magazines. However, the band disbanded later that year. After a six-year hiatus, during which members explored other musical projects like Holy Knights and Acacia, Trinakrius reunited in 2002. They then released the "Inquisantism" mini-concept EP, which led to a contract with Doom Symphony. Their first official CD, "Sancta Inquisitio," garnered international acclaim. The band has since performed at notable festivals like Headbangers Open Air and Kutten4ever Festival, and has undergone several lineup changes over the years.

Recent releases include "Introspectum" and "Le Streghe Sono Tornate," the latter being a tribute to their late guitarist and singer Vincent Montalto. Trinakrius continues to evolve with a current lineup that includes Claudio Florio on drums, Ivan Bologna on bass, and Valerio Fròsini on guitars. Their music often explores themes of historical and mystical significance, reflecting their unique blend of power and doom metal styles.
