Caribombo, born Carlos Guillén, is a multifaceted musician from Maracaibo, Venezuela, known for his dynamic role as a percussionist, DJ, and producer. His music is a vibrant blend of Latin, Caribbean, and African rhythms, effortlessly merging styles like cumbia, dembow, afrobeat, and afro-house. Born to a Colombian father and a Venezuelan mother, Caribombo's musical journey reflects his diverse cultural background, which he combines with modern electronic elements to create a unique sound. He has collaborated with artists from around the world, showcasing his ability to fuse traditional and modern music. Currently based in France, Caribombo continues to tour and produce music that celebrates diverse cultural influences.
