Decemberism is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2010 by singer-songwriter Jesse Hughes and guitarist Matt Fazzi. They released their debut album, "The Long Way Home," in 2012, which was followed by their sophomore album, "City Hall / Countless Times," in 2014. Decemberism's music has been described as "atmospheric" and "dreamy," with a sound that draws from both indie rock and shoegaze. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The War on Drugs, DIIV, and Beach Fossils.
