Mestre Pernalonga is a capoeira master who began practicing capoeira at the age of 12 under the guidance of Mestre Carapau. In 1997, he founded the "Grupo Nova Geração de Angola," focusing his work in the communities of São Bernardo do Campo (SBC) and Diadema, where he continues to be active today. Musically, Mestre Pernalonga has collaborated with Contramestre Rafael Xikarangoma, releasing albums such as "Era Eu Era Meu Mano, Era Meu Mano Mais Eu – Volume 2," which features traditional capoeira music. His recent releases include "5Th Capoeira Angola Meeting In Athens" and "O Que Eu Canto É Sentimento," showcasing his dedication to capoeira music and culture.
