Kensington

Kensington is a Dutch rock band hailing from Utrecht, the Netherlands, formed in 2005. The band consists of Eloi Youssef (vocals, guitar), Casper Starreveld (guitar, vocals), Jan Haker (bass), and Niles Vandenberg (drums). The band steadily built a strong reputation in the Dutch music scene with their polished indie rock sound, enriched with anthemic choruses and emotive lyrics, which quickly garnered a large and dedicated fan base. Over the years, Kensington has released multiple successful albums and singles, with a sound that evolves while remaining distinctively theirs.

Their musical versatility shines through in their discography with releases like "Unplugged (Live)," where they showcase acoustic versions of their songs, offering a more intimate experience of their music. With top tracks like "Sorry," "Control," and "Island," they demonstrate their ability to strip down their typically energetic rock sound to something more subdued without losing the intensity for which they are known. The band also experiments with different sonic landscapes as reflected in albums such as "Introspective," "Acoustic," "Electronic," and "Bangers," each album catering to different facets of their artistic expression. Noted for their compelling live performances, Kensington also brought their dynamic stage presence to the album "Live And Loud," capturing the raw energy of their concerts. With releases like "Chronos Pt. 1," the band continues to explore and push the boundaries of their genre, securing their place as frontrunners in the European rock scene.
