Druckfarben is a Canadian progressive rock band hailing from Toronto, known for reviving the intricate, melodic spirit of classic '70s prog with a modern edge. Formed in the late 2000s, the group—originally featuring vocalist Phil Naro (RIP, 2021), guitarist Ed Bernard, keyboardist William Hare, bassist Peter Murray, and drummer Troy Feener—earned a cult following for their virtuosic musicianship and lush harmonies, drawing comparisons to legends like Yes and Gentle Giant. They made a splash with their self-titled debut album in 2011, followed by *Second Sound* in 2015, both showcasing their knack for epic compositions and tight ensemble playing.
