Morningsiders

Morningsiders are a NYC folk-pop act known for their unique indie music that blends intimate live performances with atmospheric studio production. The band was formed at Columbia University by co-founders Magnus Ferguson (vocals/guitar), Reid Jenkins (fiddle/vocals), and Robert Frech (piano). They first gained national attention when their song "Empress" topped Spotify's Viral 50 chart in 2015 and was featured in a Starbucks commercial with Oprah Winfrey. Since then, Morningsiders have evolved their sound, focusing on songcraft and production while maintaining their folk roots.
