Abdou El Omari

Abdou El Omari was a celebrated Moroccan musician, composer, and master of the synthesizer and Farfisa organ who played a pivotal role in modernizing and popularizing Moroccan Chaabi and folk music. Blending traditional Moroccan rhythms and melodies with psychedelic, funk, and jazz influences, he created a vibrant and hypnotic sound that became the soundtrack to countless celebrations and parties in the 1970s and 80s.
