I Solisti Ambrosiani is an Italian ensemble founded in 2008 by soprano Tullia Pedersoli and violinist Davide Belosio, dedicated to performing early music with a focus on historically informed interpretation using original instruments. They are known for their flexible formation, ranging from small duos to chamber orchestras, allowing for a rich variety of expressive performances. The group has performed extensively across Europe and beyond, including Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Brazil, and Canada.
Beyond concerts, I Solisti Ambrosiani founded the Musica Sibrii Festival in 2012, which showcases early music in historical locations of the Seprio region in Northern Italy, fostering cultural exchange and attracting notable artists. Their recordings, often featuring rarely performed Baroque works by composers like Caldara, Albinoni, and Bigaglia, have earned critical acclaim and include several world premiere releases. Their dedication to authentic Baroque repertoire and vibrant artistic energy makes them a distinguished presence in the early music scene.
