Bombocas is a popular female Portuguese music duo known for their catchy and heartfelt songs. The group was created in 1997 by singer Emanuel, who wanted to form a female counterpart to himself. The name "Bombocas" was inspired by a type of chocolate popular at the time. Over the years, the duo has seen some changes in its lineup and currently features singers Paula Santos and Rita Almeida. They released their debut album, "Não Queriam Mais Nada," in 1997, followed by a series of albums including "Deixa a Outra" (1998) and "De Uma Vez Por Todas" (1999). Their song "É Tudo Treta" was featured in the soundtrack of the film "Amo-te Teresa" in 2000.
