Their breakthrough came with the 1987 album *Raintown*, which featured hits like "Dignity" and "Chocolate Girl." Over the years, they have built a loyal fanbase, releasing a string of successful albums that blend pop, rock, and Celtic influences. Despite taking a hiatus in the mid-'90s, Deacon Blue returned in the 2000s and have continued to release new music, including recent albums such as *City of Love* and *Riding on the Tide of Love*.
