Scorned Embrace

Scorned Embrace is a metalcore band that formed in the summer of 2007 with the goal of pushing the boundaries of their genre. The band's lineup has included Mike Clark on vocals, Elliott Flanagan and Josh Williams on guitars, Logan Matti on drums, and Mike Hendrix (Drix) on bass. They draw inspiration from bands like Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, and Unearth, blending these influences to create music characterized by crushing breakdowns, intricate riffs, and catchy melodies. Scorned Embrace has released several albums, including their self-titled debut and "Enclosures," which have solidified their presence in the Tucson music scene. The band is known for their energetic live performances, which often include humorous antics.

Over the years, Scorned Embrace has undergone lineup changes, with notable contributions from temporary guitarist Lloyd Verbois, who helped compose tracks like "Plunged into Stagnation."
