Lasse Lokøy

Lasse Lokøy, also known by his solo project name Lokoy, is a Norwegian songwriter, musician, and producer known for blending electropop with elements of hip-hop, R&B, and electronica. Born in 1996 in Stavanger, Norway, he first gained recognition as the bassist for the punk-rock band Sløtface before embarking on a solo career that showcases a more experimental and genre-defying sound. His solo work, including the debut EP *Can We All Go to Bed* (2018) featuring collaborations with artists like Girl in Red and Safario, highlights his knack for sampling and melodic production. In 2021, he released his debut album *Badminton*, which received praise for its sophisticated pop textures and inventive approach.

Beyond his own releases, Lokoy has collaborated with various artists, notably working with Uffie on remix projects such as the *Autosabotear* and *Girl Party* remixes, contributing to a unique electronic aesthetic. His music is often described as a kaleidoscopic contrast to his punk background, combining emotive pop with innovative electronic soundscapes that have earned him critical acclaim and international attention.
