Bracket

Bracket is an American rock band known for their unique meld of pop-punk and alternative rock with quirky lyrics and a penchant for melody. Emerging from Forestville, California, Bracket came together in the early 1990s, joining the ranks of bands that were defining the West Coast punk scene of that era. Members include lead vocalist and guitarist Marty Gregori, guitarist Angelo Celli, bassist Zack Charlos, and drummer Ray Castro. The band carved out its own space with a distinctly more melodic and harmony-rich sound compared to some of their punk peers.

Bracket's music journey is marked with a steady release of albums, showcasing their evolution while staying true to their original sound. "E" Is for Everything on Fat Wreck Chords marked their early days with the notable punk label. Subsequent releases like "Novelty Forever" and "When All Else Fails" solidified their reputation for crafting catchy tunes imbued with an authentic spirit. The band's playful and introspective nature came through in later works such as "Hold Your Applause" and "Too Old to Die Young," a testament to their enduring presence in a shifting musical landscape. Despite not breaking into mainstream success, Bracket maintains a loyal fan base, revered for their commitment to their distinctive sound and their ability to tell stories through their music, evidenced in tracks like "The Last Page: Warren's Song, Pt. 28" and "Arting Starvist."
