Original Alpenoberkrainer
The Original Alpenoberkrainer, also known as Alpski Kvintet in Slovenian, are a popular folk music group from Slovenia that has been delighting audiences since 1966. They're one of the most well-known representatives of Oberkrainer music, a style named after the Slovenian region of Gorenjska (Upper Carniola in English). The band has released over 40 albums in German, with most of their music sung in both German and Slovenian. They're particularly famous for hits like "Mädel aus Krain" and the instrumental polka "Schöne Urlaubszeit".
