Dramatic Lovers

Dramatic Lovers is a Milwaukee-based indie-rock supergroup formed in 2016. The band takes its name from a group of early 20th-century anarchists that lived in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood, where the band members reside. The group's members have a rich musical history, with ties to notable Milwaukee bands such as Decibully, The Promise Ring, Maritime, and Temper Temper. Led by William "B.J." Seidel, who is also known for his work as a restaurateur and bar owner, Dramatic Lovers have released several notable projects, including their debut album *You Talk Loud* and more recently, the *Hiatus EP*.

Their music often explores universal themes of love, loss, and life's transitions, blending upbeat and darker tones with a distinctive sound shaped by their collective experience in Milwaukee's vibrant music scene. Despite a yearlong hiatus, the band continues to captivate audiences with releases like the *Hiatus EP*, which offers a haunting blend of gauzy instrumentation and heartfelt vocals.
