The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a symphony orchestra based in Rochester, New York. Founded in 1922, the RPO is one of the oldest orchestras in the United States. The orchestra performs a wide range of classical and contemporary music, and has a strong commitment to education and outreach programs. The RPO has been led by a number of distinguished conductors, including Erich Leinsdorf, David Zinman, and Christopher Seaman. The orchestra's current music director is Andreas Delfs.
