Enthroned is a seminal band in the black metal scene, hailing originally from Belgium, with a musical legacy that dates back to the early 1990s. Founded by drummer Cernunnos, the band quickly established itself with a vehemently dark and aggressive sound. Throughout its existence, Enthroned has been challenged by lineup changes and the tragic loss of Cernunnos in 1997. Nonetheless, they turned tragedy into a fearsome driving force, with bassist and vocalist Sabathan at the helm initially, followed later by Nornagest taking over vocal duties.
